Liverpool: Jordan Ibe video shows his immense talent as a youngster at Anfield

Jordan Ibe appeared to be destined for greatness at Liverpool.

Back in December 2011, the Reds snapped up the 16-year-old from Wycombe who was being touted as one of the most exciting youngsters in England.

It took Ibe a couple of years to break into the first-team at Anfield but, after the departure of Raheem Sterling in 2015, Ibe was touted as his successor.

Ibe played 41 times the season after Sterling left but didn’t quite live up to expectations with just four goals.

In total, the winger played 58 times for Liverpool during what was a difficult period for the club.

But it’s easy to forget just how exciting he looked at times for the club.

In fact, a new compilation video has emerged showing just how good he was.

The one-minute clip shows Ibe taking on defenders for fun with his pace and skill while also scoring a handful of really nice goals.

The video has been shared on Twitter and many Liverpool fans are remembering just how highly they rated him at the time.
