Liverpool fixtures: The incredible schedule they could face in April

Liverpool are through to the Champions League quarter-finals and the quadruple is still on.

Jurgen Klopp may brand the talk of winning four competitions this season as “crazy” but we’re set to enter Spring and the Reds can still dream.

They claimed the Carabao Cup at the end of February after triumphing over Chelsea in a penalty shootout.

Now, after overcoming Inter Milan over two legs, they’re through to the last-eight of the Champions League.

Next weekend, they face Championship side, Nottingham Forest, for a place in the FA Cup semi-final.

Meanwhile, while they trail Manchester City by six points in the Premier League, they do have a game in hand and have to travel to the Etihad next month.

Everything is in their hands.

Something that isn’t in Liverpool’s hands are the draws in cup competitions.

The draw for the Champions League quarter and semi-finals take place next Friday. Bayern Munich and Liverpool have already booked their place but are set to be joined by the likes of Man City and Chelsea, and one of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain and one of Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.

When you reach this stage of the season, the matches come thick and fast and Liverpool fans are already imagining the potential fixture list that could await them in April.

In fact, one Liverpool supporter has got ahead of himself and worked out what the schedule could look like if Liverpool drew Premier League rivals Man City in both the Champions League and FA Cup.

Answer: Absolute carnage.

Imagine Liverpool playing Man City FOUR times in a row in less than two weeks. And then just casually finishing off the month against rivals Man Utd and Everton.
