Manchester City face their most difficult test of the season at Anfield today as they take on Arne Slot's Premier League leaders Liverpool.

On to Anfield, and City risk their title defence effectively ending with defeat as Liverpool could go 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League with a win. If City rip up the form book and win, they can kickstart their season and attack a five point gap.

Pep Guardiola will definitely be without Mateo Kovacic, Rodri and Oscar Bobb, while John Stones is a major doubt and there are question marks over the fitness of Ruben Dias, Jeremy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne.
