Liverpool FC clash given new date as three Manchester United Premier League fixtures changed

Each of Manchester United's first three Premier League fixtures in April have been moved following the announcement of the Premier League's latest batch of TV fixtures.

United will now kick-off their April schedule a day later than originally planned, facing Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, April 4. The contest, which will be screened live on TNT Sports, will kick-off at 8.15pm. The tussle with the west London club was originally pencilled in to take place on Wednesday, April 3 and kick-off at 7.45pm.

As a result of the clash with Chelsea being pushed back by a little over 24 hours, the meeting with Liverpool at Old Trafford has also been allocated a new date. Originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 6, it will now be staged on Sunday, April 7, kicking off at 3.30pm.

The tussle with the Merseysiders, who were beaten 2-1 on their last visit to M16, will be shown live on Sky Sports. United and Liverpool went head-to-head on a Sunday earlier this season, too, drawing 0-0 at Anfield in December.

The following weekend, United will once again be in action on a Sunday afternoon, travelling to the Vitality Stadium to face Bournemouth on Sunday, April 14. The kick-off time has been pencilled in for 4.30pm.

However, the Premier League has warned that United's clash with the Cherries could be moved back to Saturday, April 13, kicking off at 5.30pm, if Arsenal's clash with Aston Villa, which has been awarded the 5.30pm slot on the aforementioned date, needs to be moved due to European involvement.
