Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson stunned by what Harry Maguire did in England training

Anyone who has ever watched clips from the Liverpool training ground will be very familiar with the 'rondo' exercise. It's a drill where a circle of players pass the ball around, usually taking only one touch, while a couple of team-mates attempt to press them and win possession.

Rondos are a key - and often very competitive - part of Reds sessions. But it seems as though that attitude might not always be the case elsewhere.

Yesterday the England football team released an 'inside training' video onto its official Youtube account, showing preparations ahead of the friendly against Switzerland which took place last night.

And one short snippet from the footage is going viral on social media. It shows members of the squad during a rondo, with Jack Grealish and Nick Pope in the middle trying to stop them.

With Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson speaking out loud to count the number of successful passes, the level of intensity begins to crank up as the group breaks into the 40s.

As Henderson gets to "41, 42, 43", the ball comes towards Manchester United star Harry Maguire - who decides to control it with his left before putting his right foot on top of it.

The Reds midfielder shoots Maguire a quizzical look as he asks: "What are you doing?"

Liverpool fans have unsurprisingly been quite ruthless in giving their take on the clip.

@CarlWhite83 tweeted: "He looks disgusted with him, love how serious Henderson takes things." While @Andy_Gardner1 wrote: "Hendo says what the world's been thinking all season."

And @ccoburn015 said "Hendo is just glad he doesn't have to deal with that on a weekly basis", followed by a string of laughing emojis.

Even some United supporters could not resist offering a verdict on Maguire's antics.
