Liverpool, Arsenal, Man Utd: Supercomputer predicts Premier League outcomes

A supercomputer has calculated the probabilities of every possible outcome in the Premier League and Liverpool fans will be ecstatic.

We are right into the business end of the season now and there is still so much to play for. That’s surprising given that Manchester City had a 14-point lead over Liverpool back in January, but we are certainly not complaining.

Although, beyond the battle at the top, there’s plenty of action happening elsewhere in the league this year which has proven to be something of a rarity in recent years gone by.

As we head into the closing stages of another spectacular Premier League, a supercomputer over at the Mirror has calculated exactly what we can expect to happen.

Look away now City fans…

The supercomputer predicts that Liverpool will go on to become Premier League champions. Yes, City might currently sit top of the table with a one point advantage over their rivals, but the calculations the computer has made suggests that Klopp’s men will overturn the deficit.

To be precise there is in fact an 80% chance that they will run out eventual champions. Much of that will surely hinge on the result of the blockbuster match between the two title challengers at the Etihad on Sunday.

Should Guardiola’s men emerge victorious, it’s difficult to imagine them giving up a four point advantage in just seven games. However, Klopp’s men are unbeaten in the league since the turn of the year and the momentum is surely in the Reds favour.

Whatever way you look at it, it’s the biggest game the Premier League has seen in years and we know which way the supercomputer thinks it’s going.
