Live updates as tickets go on sale for Tom Jones 2023 gig at Cardiff Castle

It's been more than 20 years since Sir Tom Jones performed in the Welsh Capital and this summer he is back with a gig at Cardiff Castle for his 'Ages and Stages Tour'. After five different pre-sale events today's the day fans will be able to buy tickets in the general sale.

As well as the Cardiff date on Friday, July 21, Tom will perform in eight other UK venues starting in Belfast and ending the tour in Essex on August, 6. After a series of support gigs last year, including his performance at the Principality Stadium, it's the first time in decades that Tom is back on his own.

This has only boosted the demand to get tickets and fans have already been rushing to buy a place in the crowd during this week's pre-sale events. The general sale starts today at 10am on Ticketmaster but fans are being urged to join the site no later than 9:45am in a bid to boost their chances of securing tickets.
