LIVE: Updates as the UK awaits Netflix release of final Harry & Meghan episodes
Anticipation is growing ahead of the release on Netflix of the final three episodes of their "Harry & Meghan" documentary at 8am today (Thursday, December 15). A staggering 81 million hours of the docuseries were viewed during the four days after the first three episodes were made available on the streaming service last week.
And, while many felt the Royal Family escaped relatively unscathed from those programmes, the new releases are expected to be more explosive after Netflix teased a trailer to viewers earlier today. In it Meghan accuses Buckingham Palace of purposely feeding the UK media with stories on Meghan & Harry to keep other members of the Royal Family out of the headlines.
The Duchess of Sussex's lawyer Jenny Afia, meanwhile, claims that the Royal Family were helping encourage a "war against Meghan", whilst adding: "I've seen evidence there were negative briefings from the Palace against Harry and Meghan."
The trailer does not detail what that evidence was, but it has certainly whetted the appetite ahead of tomorrow morning as viewers wait to see whether that evidence is revealed in the new episodes. We'll take you through the build-up to the big release on here and will also be detailing the content of episodes four, five and six as we watch them.
So, if you're not a Netflix subscriber, don't worry. You won't miss a thing...
