Live updates as Storm Debi lashes Wales with gale-force winds and heavy rain
Storm Debi is set to bring high winds to parts of Wales throughout Monday (November 13). Met Office warnings in place for parts of north, mid and west Wales started at 4am and will be in place until 6pm.
There are restrictions on the M48 Severn Crossing because of the winds and the Cleddau Bridge in Pembrokeshire is closed this morning to all vehicles. There is also a warning of "poor driving conditions" on the A470 and M4. There are also speed restrictions on the M4 around Swansea because of the "high winds".
The forecasting agency has also issued two amber wind warnings for parts of Northern Ireland and northwest England.

Storm Debi was named by Met Éireann – the Irish meteorological service – on Sunday morning. As the low pressure system makes progress across Ireland and into the UK a belt of strong and disruptive winds will bring impacts. Heavy rain will also be a feature of Storm Debi.
The two amber wind warnings for southeast Northern Ireland and northwest England are embedded within broader yellow warnings already in force across the whole of Northern Ireland, northern England and parts of Wales. A red warning has also been issued in parts of Ireland.
Matthew Lehnert is a chief neteorologist with the Met Office and says: “Storm Debi has developed rapidly overnight and will bring impacts across parts of the UK today. Because of the particular risk of impacts to parts of County Armagh and County Down this morning and parts of northwest England through much of the day we have issued two amber wind warnings.”
