Live updates as police investigate man's sudden death
Police are investigating the sudden death of a man after a body was found at a house in Trehafod, Pontypridd. Officers were called to a house on Trehafod Road at around 11.30am on Sunday (January 21) by concerned local resident.
A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. Next of kin is being informed and a file of evidence is being prepared for HM Coroner."
Emergency services were at the scene on Sunday afternoon and it was reported that the air ambulance landed nearby. Traffic monitoring system Inrix is reporting that there is "stationary traffic in the area" and that the police incident is near The Bertie Pub.
