Live updates as M4 closed one way near Newport due to police incident
A police incident has seen a stretch of the M4 near Newport close during heavy Bank Holiday traffic.
Traffic monitoring service Inrix said at 5.46pm on Friday: "M4 Eastbound closed, queueing traffic due to police incident between J26 A4051 (Malpas Road) and J24 A449 (Coldra)... Westbound side has now been re-opened. Eastbound remains closed."

The A40 in Crickhowell is also closed in both directions, with traffic queuing due to an incident between A4077 New Road and A479 Tretower turn-off.
