Live updates as long queues form on M4 on first day of half-term break

There are long delays on the M4 as people start to travel for the half term holidays and head out to enjoy the sunshine, or perhaps arrive early for the Ed Sheeran and My Chemical Romance shows on tonight.

Long tailbacks have been seen on the M4 heading towards Cardiff from Newport, which mirrors similar delays yesterday and Thursday. There are also tailbacks on the old road from Chepstow to Newport as people try to find a diversion.
