LIVE: Updates as Harry and Meghan Netflix documentary released

Many in the UK will be eagerly awaiting a breakfast date with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the morning (Thursday, December 8). Long awaited by some - and dreaded by others - the Netflix documentary 'Harry and Meghan' is scheduled for an 8am release on the streaming giant's website and apps.

The docuseries is sparking controversy before it has even aired. Harry and Meghan faced shouts of “Are you putting money before family?” and “Are you harming your family Harry?” from the media in New York as they posed for photographs on the red carpet at an awards gala on Tuesday night.

The duke brushed off the remarks, saying: “So many questions”, just hours before the tell-all series is released. We'll be covering its launch live, with updates on the latest revelations and reaction in the live blog below.

In the trailer for the series, Harry speaks of a “dirty game” and the “leaking” and “planting of stories”. Any claims, criticisms and bombshells the Sussexes make in their six part series will face intense scrutiny and challenge in the British press, but what issues are they expected to raise and what questions could be left lingering?

It's thought that their love/hate relationship with the media, allegations Meghan bullied Buckinghham Palace staff and Harry's rift with his brother Wiliam, the Prince of Wales could all be explored in the series. Meghan's relationship with her sister-in-law Kate, the Princess of Wales, could also feature - as could Harry's relationship with his father, King Charles III.

And Will Harry and Meghan finally unmask the unnamed royal they accused of making a racist remark about her son Archie before he was born? Or will they make further accusations of racism against the monarchy?

Stay tuned and follow
