Live updates as fire crews deal with large fire in Gower

Fire crews are dealing with a large fire at a property in Gower. Police have asked people to stay away from the area and people are being asked to keep their doors and windows closed.

The alarm was raised in the Ocean View Windmill Farm area, Llanrhidian, at 5.27am on Friday. A statement from South Wales Police said: "The Fire Brigade are currently at a large fire in the Ocean View Windmill Farm area SA3 1HB and are requesting members of the public to avoid the area and to keep their doors and windows closed."

A spokeswoman for South Wales Fire and Rescue said that six fire crews were being sent to the scene and that the fire is believed to be in outbuildings at a property in the area.
