Live updates as Fabian Way is closed westbound heading for Swansea after incident

A large section of the A483 Fabian Way Westbound is closed. The road is shut between the Jersey Marine roundabout to the Port of Swansea, due to an accident.

Traffic heading into Swansea is being affected. One commuter reported that the road was virtually "gridlocked", and shared an image of what appears to be a burnt out vehicle at the side of the road. Traffic reporting service Inrix first listed the incident at 5.48pm. The emergency services have been contacted for comment and we will keep this story updated with the latest information.
