Wales' health minister Eluned Morgan will give a press conference today. Later this week, the Welsh Government will announce whether it will continue with its plans to end all restrictions in Wales at the end of this month.
At the start of March First Minister Mark Drakeford said that if the situation remains "stable" that all legal restrictions will finally be removed on Monday, March 28. That means it will no longer be compulsory to wear face coverings in shops, on public transport, or in healthcare settings from that date and self-isolation will not be required by law. However, cases are rises and the situation is not stable.
Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said her government would hold back on its own plans to relax restrictions in Scotland, and as we've seen throughout the pandemic, the two devolved governments have taken similar approaches so there are big questions about what the Welsh Government will choose to do.

Wales' seven-day infection rate has risen again in every area of Wales and it is not just in Wales where cases are rising. It was announced on Monday (March 21) that the number of people in hospital with coronavirus in Scotland has reached its highest total ever since the start of the pandemic, with the latest figures showing 2,128 patients in hospital with the virus.
The review of the rules in Wales is taking place this week with the cabinet due to meet on Wednesday and Thursday before coming to a final decision.
