Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp gives fascinating interview to Peter Crouch ahead of Benfica match
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to win the Premier League title again – but this time with fans in attendance.
The Reds ended a 30-year wait for a top-flight trophy in the 2019/20 season with the help of the German.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic meant football fans were unable to attend the closing stages of the season and watch Klopp’s side in all its crowning glory.
Since arriving at Anfield, Klopp has won the Champions League, Premier League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup and a Carabao Cup.
The 54-year-old is widely regarded as one of the club’s greatest ever managers and will be best remembered for steering the club to its first piece of silverware for over a decade.
However, he insists that he will not be satisfied until they can all celebrate winning the league again together.
Asked by Peter Crouch to reflect on the last couple of years, Klopp told BT Sport: “It’s difficult to think about the last two years when it’s not really football that is the first thing in your mind, it’s probably Covid what comes to your mind, so it was really tough.
