Live updates as Cardiff industrial estate fire sees residents told to keep doors and windows shut

Local residents have been told to keep doors and windows closed as crews deal with a fire at a Cardiff industrial estate. Emergency services were called to reports of a commercial fire at an industrial unit in Tremorfa.

South Wales Fire and Rescue say the fire was reported just after 2pm at The Big Padlock Self Storage on Clydesmuir Road Industrial Estate.

Crews, appliances, and specialist rescue equipment from Cardiff Central, Ely, Maindee, Barry, Penarth, Duffryn, Malpas, Pontypridd, Roath and Caerphilly are currently on scene.
