LIVE: TWO hour delays on M62 after major lorry fire causes huge spillage - updates
Emergency services are on the scene following a large vehicle fire on the M62 which has closed the motorway in one direction.
Crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene, on the eastbound carriageway, at around 2pm.
Three lanes are currently blocked until close to junction 21 for Milnrow. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and make alternative travel arrangements where possible.
The incident occurred close to junction 22 for Rishworth Moor.
A spokesperson for National Highways said: "The #M62 in #WestYorkshire is CLOSED eastbound between J22 (#Denshaw) and J24 (#Huddersfield) due to a lorry fire. Emergency services are in attendance. More information to follow soon. Thanks for your patience if you're held up."

There has been extensive damaged caused to the HGV which erupted into flames and caused a large spillage on the motorway.
No injuries were reported, the fire service confirmed.
There are now two-hour delays on the M62 this evening.
