A trampoline park in Salford has shut this afternoon after a 'medical emergency involving a child'.

Bounce Central in the Pendlebury area has been forced to shut as emergency crews raced to the scene. An eyewitness reported seeing the air ambulance landing nearby.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed officers have responded to reports of a medical emergency involving a child. No further details have been released at this stage, though there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.

In a post on Facebook, Bounce Central said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Bounce Central Salford will be closed for the rest of today (Thursday 29th August). Please contact us if you have pre booked for this afternoon and we will be happy to rearrange your session."
