LIVE: Train derails at Wigan station with services cancelled and delayed
All lines are blocked after a train 'derailed' at a station in Wigan.
According to National Rail, the train has derailed at Wigan North Western station this afternoon. Engineers are on their way to the scene.
Northern and TransPennine Express routes are currently affected. Trains may be cancelled, revised or delayed until at least 6pm today.

The routes affect include the Northern route between Blackpool North/Wigan North Western and Liverpool Lime Street, and also between Barrow-in-Furness/Windermere and Manchester Airport, and the TransPennine Express route between Glasgow Central and Liverpool Lime Street.
National Rail said: "A derailed train in the Wigan North Western area means all lines are blocked. As a result, trains may be cancelled or revised. This is expected until 18:00."
