LIVE: Thomas Campbell's killers learn their fate after being found guilty of dad's death - updates from court

Thomas Campbell's killers are due to learn their fate at a sentencing hearing today. The 38-year-old's former wife, Coleen Campbell, Stephen Cleworth, 38, and Reece Steven, 29, are all being sentenced at Bolton Crown Court.

Mr Campbell was ambushed by three men at the front door of his home in Mossley, Tameside, before being dragged inside and brutally murdered. He was tortured to death during a two hour ordeal.

Coleen Campbell, who was married to Thomas for a decade, provided key intelligence to the alleged mastermind of the attack, John Belfield. The fugitive, 28, is wanted by police after going on the run.

Belfield recruited armed robber Reece Steven, and convicted knifeman Stephen Cleworth, as part of a plan to rob Mr Campbell of valuables, cash or drugs. Cleworth was not at the scene of the fatal attack, on Saturday, July 2 last year, but played a vital part in meticulous planning ahead of the killing.

Steven was one of the three men who ambushed Mr Campbell. Prosecutors say the other was Belfield, while the third man is unknown to police.

After a trial, Coleen Campbell, of Bamford Street, Clayton, was found guilty of manslaughter. Cleworth, of Charles Street, Heywood, was also convicted of manslaughter, while Steven, of Poplar Street, Middleton was found guilty of murder.

The sentencing hearing is expected to start at noon. The M.E.N. is in court and will provide live updates when the case begins, which will appear below.
