LIVE: Take That bring rearranged Co-Op Live gigs to AO Arena in Manchester - latest updates

Take That will be kicking off the first of their mammoth five nights in Manchester tonight - and fans will be heading to see the band at the AO Arena following a last-minute reshuffle.

The band - made up of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald - had originally been scheduled to perform their five shows in the city at Co-op Live in Eastlands this evening, but construction delays and ‘technical difficulties’ at the venue has led the gigs to be relocated to the AO Arena.

Announced last week, the band said in a statement that they had ‘taken the difficult decision’ to move the shows. “This is not a decision we have taken lightly,” the band said, “but we wanted to give our fans as much notice as possible.”

The band was able to move all but one of its shows to the venue for the same night as originally intended. Their May 8 show will now take place on Thursday (May 9). It means the band will perform at the AO Arena this evening, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

An additional two shows for June 11 and 12 are currently unaffected and still scheduled to take place at Co-op Live. During the tour, the band will be joined by special guest Olly Murs.
