LIVE: Severe queues on stretch of M6 after 'vehicle fire' - latest updates
Huge queues are building on a stretch of the M6 this morning after reports of a 'vehicle fire'.
Two lanes have been closed off on the northbound carriageway between junction 19 for Knutsford and junction 20 for the M56 Lymm Interchange. One lane is also shut on the southbound side.
Emergency services are on the scene. Motorway cameras show congestion building up to the incident.

A tweet posted by the North West Motorway Police said: "Lane closures currently set on the #M6 north and south between J19 - J20 due to a vehicle fire. Delays building on the area."
