LIVE: Queues building on M62 after lorry breaks down - latest updates

Queues are building on a section of the M62 this morning due to a broken down lorry.

Two lanes have been shut off on the westbound carriageway near to junction 19 for Middleton and Heywood. According to Highways England, lanes three and four are closed.

Congestion is building up the incident. Queues are currently back to junction 20 for Rochdale and Oldham.

In a tweet, Manc Traffic said: "Broken down lorry - Queues and 2 lanes closed on the M62 w/b j19. Congestion to j20 and building quickly."

Congestion is now back to 21 for Milnrow, according to traffic alert service Inrix.
