LIVE: Police cordon in Manchester with CSI and specialist search team at scene
A police cordon is in place in Manchester city centre with specialist officers at the scene in Swan Street. A police cordon was spotted in the area this morning (November 26), but Crime Scene Investigation and Specialist Search Unit vehicles are now at the scene.
Tactical Aid Unit officers are also in attendance. The ring road remains open but some buildings in Swan Street have been taped off.
Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for comment.
