LIVE: Police and air ambulance land and block off road - latest updates
A major road has been blocked off as police deal with an incident in north Manchester.
Rochdale Road in Blackley is closed as emergency services respond to an incident which took place near the Park City Suites Hotel.
An air ambulance landed nearby on the David Lewis Recreation Ground earlier this afternoon (April 10) and has since left the scene.
Images taken following the incident which is believed to have taken place at around 2.30pm show several emergency service vehicles.
Rochdale Road has been cordoned off by police with Google Maps showing that the road is closed from Russet Road to Old Road.
Greater Manchester Police have been contacted for comment.
