Live Lotto and Thunderball results for Saturday, October 18
It's Saturday night and since 1994 that's meant it's time to find out this week's lottery numbers. The UK's first ever lottery draw took place on November 19, 1994. Around seven million tickets were sold within 12 hours of the launch by then Prime Minister John Major.
The first draw took place live on BBC One, hosted by Noel Edmonds, and was watched by 22 million people. And there were seven jackpot winners, who each came away with a £800,000 share of £5.6m.
The very first winning numbers were 30,3,5,44,14,22 with the bonus ball 10.
Back to 2025 and tonight's Lotto jackpot stands at £7m, while the Thunderball could win you £500k.
We're aiming to deliver you the results as they happen at 8pm for Lotto, then 8.15pm for Thunderball. Though the game has experienced some technical difficulties in recent weeks.
So, fingers crossed we'll get those numbers asap - and that they are the seven you are hoping for.
