LIVE: Long traffic delays on M60 with lanes shut after crash - latest updates

Traffic is building on a stretch of the M60 near Stockport this morning after a crash.

Two lanes have been shut off on the anticlockwise carriageway from junction one for the Stockport Pyramid to junction 27 for the Portwood Roundabout, according to traffic alert service Inrix. Cameras show long queues building up to the incident.

Lanes two and three are currently blocked. Congestion is also building on the clockwise side.

A tweet posted by Manc Traffic said: "M60 ac/w just before j27 queues and 2 lanes blocked. Congestion through j1 and c/w very slow with onlookers through j25."
