LIVE: Forensic tent and police cordon in place next to Stockport Interchange - updates
Police cars and a forensic tent have been set up on a street next to a Greater Manchester bus station this morning (January 28).
At least three police cars are at the scene on Astley Street, where it meets with Viaduct Street, beside Stockport Bus Interchange. A square, white forensic tent has also been established.
A number of police officers can be seen on an image of the police presence this morning with a cordon in place.
Travel services show Astley Street and Viaduct Street have both been shut off by police, with drivers warned to avoid the area.
