Dricus delivers fighting masterclass, breaks Strickland's nose to defend UFC title
Dricus du Plessis delivered a mixed martial arts masterclass in beating Sean Strickland after five clinical rounds in Sydney on Sunday to retain his UFC middleweight title.
It was one-way traffic from start to finish, with Du Plessis breaking Strickland's nose in the fourth round and leaving him a bloody mess for the remainder of the fight.
"Is there no-one else?" Du Plessis bellowed at the end of the fight.
The champion has now won nine straight fights in the middleweight division and has beaten Strickland on points in two of his last three.
In Sunday's bout, all three judges scored in favour of the South African - 50-45; 50-45; 49-46.
This, surely, ends the rivalry between the two fighters.
