LIVE: Amazon Prime Day 2022 date confirmed for July, best daily deals

Amazon has not announced the dates of Prime Day yet but it is rumoured to be back to its traditional July slot.

The online retail giant usually holds Prime Day, one of the biggest days of discounting and bargains on the site, in July but Covid issues meant it appeared as late as October in recent years.

Amazon Prime Day has now been confirmed for 12 and 13 July.

In the meantime there are plenty of early deals on everything from vacuum cleaners to TVs, headphones to groceries. All of the deals are live now on the Amazon site and there are plenty of big discounts to be found.

Amazon says there will be two days of 'Unlimited Deals' but it will probably stay tight-lipped about the nature of those deals until the day itself.

Amazon will reveal Amazon Prime Day offers on the day itself but Amazon Prime members will be the first people who will be able to access them.

If you are an Amazon Prime member you will be able to see Lightning Deals earlier and get first access to them. That is a good thing because many of the best Lightning Deals are based on both a time limit and stock limits, meaning once enough people claim the deal it will be removed.

As predicted Prime Day is taking place right in the middle of July. Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13 will see a huge amount of deals and discounts on the site.

The deals will be available for Prime members only, Amazon has confirmed.
