Lions edge to narrow victory to remain unbeaten Down Under but lose another to injury

The British & Irish Lions limped to an unconvincing 24-19 victory over the First Nations Pasifika XV in Melbourne to remain unbeaten since arriving in Australia.

This was a disjointed performance by Andy Farrell's side who were pushed to the limit by the FNP XV.

Wales star Jac Morgan put in another workmanlike performance which included eight tackles and seven carries, while he also won two turnovers at the breakdown.

A brace of tries from Jamie Osborne, along with a score each from Darcy Graham and Duhan van der Merwe and four points from the boot of Fin Smith got the Lions over the line.

Triston Reilly, Seru Uru and Rob Leota scored tries for the FNP XV with Wallabies great Kurtley Beale kicking four points.

The Lions continued to apply pressure and a lovely chip over the top of the FNP XV defence by Owen Farrell got gathered by Osborne for the try.

A few moments later the Lions were celebrating their second try when a lovely pass from Smith put Graham over at the corner. His game would last just 15 minutes though, with the Scot suffering a game-ending ankle injury.

Momentum shifted when Riley picked up a sloppy pass from Blair Kinghorn to touch down for a try which Beale converted.

The FNP XV continued to apply pressure and claimed their second try when blindside Uru powered
