Lionesses squad in full as England boss Sarina Wiegman calls up 11 Man City and Manchester United stars

England boss Sarina Wiegman has named her squad for the Lionesses' upcoming internationals against Brazil and Australia, with a host of Manchester United and Manchester City stars getting the nod.

Alessia Russo, who has notched ten goals and two assists in all competitions for United this term, looks set to be Wiegman's starting centre forward following the retirement of former City striker Ellen White. Teammate Ella Toone has cemented her spot in England's midfield, while goalkeeper Mary Earps remains England's undisputed No. 1 following her triumph at The Best FIFA Football Awards earlier this year.

Manchester City forwards Chloe Kelly and Lauren Hemp have also earned a call-up, alongside defender Alex Greenwood and goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck. Manchester United defender Maya Le Tissier is also included.

Elsewhere, City midfielder Laura Coombs keeps her place but United captain Katie Zelem misses out after she was named in the Arnold Clark Cup squad earlier this year. Esme Morgan also returns following her recent form for City.

The first chance for Wiegman to assess her options will come in the Lionesses' sold-out clash with Brazil at Wembley. The two sides will face off in front of 89,000 in the first-ever Women's Finalissima on April 6, where England will be bidding to make it 30 games unbeaten under Wiegman.

They will then continue their World Cup preparations by welcoming co-hosts Australia to Brentford's Gtech Community Stadium for an Alzheimer’s Society International on April 11.
