Lionel Messi: Argentina players showed respect for PSG star in training drill

Lionel Messi is a true football legend.

The 34-year-old has broken record-after-record during his career and is regarded by many to be the greatest footballer of all-time.

Messi is highly respected by his Argentina teammates and they showed that in a recent training session.

The PSG forward was recently called up to national duty for their upcoming games against Italy and Brazil.

Messi and some of his teammates, including Nicolas Otamendi, Paulo Dybala, Angel Correa and Rodrigo De Paul, took part in a training drill where each player has to keep the ball up in the air after taking two touches with two different limbs.

If a player messes up, they are then playfully hit by their teammates.

Otamendi messes up and is hit by his teammates. De Paul got the same treatment.

Messi also proved he was human by failing himself. He accidentally took more than two touches.
