Limerick blow as Seán Finn ruled out for rest of season

Limerick GAA has confirmed that All Star defender Seán Finn will miss the remainder of the season with an ACL injury.

The corner back sustained an injury shortly before half-time of last Saturday's thilling Munster SHC clash with Clare.

Finn didn’t reappear after half-time and tonight Limerick GAA confirmed that the brilliant defender’s season is over, assuring him of their constant support for his period of recovery.

The 27-year-old has four All-Ireland titles to his name and is also a four-time All Star.

Limerick meet Tipperary in round three of the provincial round-robin series and Finn’s loss will be a huge one with the Bruff man establishing himself as one of the best defenders of the modern era.
