Tipperary and Limerick play out pulsating draw

A John McGrath free, with the final act of the game, ensured a share of the spoils between Tipperary and Limerick in a pulsating Munster SHC encounter at FBD Semple Stadium.

There were four points shared and a red card for Limerick defender Barry Nash in injury-time alone, with McGrath keeping his nerve in the driving rain to ensure it all goes down to the final round of games next weekend.

It means Tipp, Limerick and Cork could all advance to meet Clare in a provincial final, with the the All-Ireland champions needing to beat the Rebels at home to remain in the All-Ireland series with both teams on three points and the men in red enjoying a better scoring difference.
