Lewis Capaldi at Sounds of the City, Castlefield Bowl - stage times, support, setlist and how to get there

To say Lewis Capaldi had a rapid rise to fame would be somewhat of an understatement. After releasing his EP ‘Bruises’ in 2017, he quickly became a household name, becoming the fastest unsigned artist to reach 25 million plays on Spotify.

His hit songs, ‘Someone You Loved’ - which reached number 1 in the US - and ‘Bruises’, ‘Hold Me While You Wait’, confirmed his star status and his album ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent’ topped 1 million UK sales, and more than 3 billion streams worldwide.

His Castlefield Bowl gig will be the second time the Scottish singer has performed in Manchester this month, after taking to the stage at Parklife Festival just a few weeks ago. It might have been three years since he released any new music, but he’s still drawing in the crowds.

Canadian singer JP Saxe is one of two artists supporting Lewis Capaldi at Castlefield Bowl. The Grammy-nominated musician is perhaps best known for his 2019 hit 'If The World Was Ending,' with was a collaboration with fellow musician and former girlfriend Julia Michaels.

Emie Nathan, who released her debut EP White Light in November, is also billed for the gig. The pop vocalist, who was born in New York and raised in London, has received critical acclaim for her latest single 'Static,' which also featured on BBC Radio 1's Best New Pop show with Mollie King.

As with all events of this scale, timings are always subject to change on the night, so make sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment. These are the approximate times we’ve been given as a guide. We will update here when exact timings are released.
