"Levy loves the idea" - Transfer insider drops claim as Spurs linked with huge high-profile move

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy “loves the idea” of Gareth Bale scoring goals for the north London club, says journalist Dean Jones.

The 32-year-old has, of course, had two spells at Spurs and has recently been linked with another return to the Premier League outfit.

According to Italian outlet TUTTOmercatoWEB, Bale has signed a pre-agreement with Tottenham, with the forward’s Real Madrid contract set to expire in the summer.

Bale has seen little action this term, missing most of the campaign so far due to a knee injury. He did, however, manage to pick up some minutes in Real Madrid’s last La Liga outing, starting in that 0-0 draw with Villarreal.

You can certainly see the appeal. A former fans’ favourite who
