Gary Neville has revealed that he always celebrates Liverpool losing after coming under-fire for his reaction to the Champions League final.

Neville posted an Instagram story in the immediate aftermath to Real Madrid’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool in Paris. Vinicius Junior scored the only goal of the game in the second-half.

The Brazilian fired home the winner when he connected with Fede Valverde’s low cross at the back post. Liverpool also found Real goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in inspired form.

Following the full-time whistle at the Stade de France, Neville posted a video from a Manchester pub singing along to the song 'Sit Down' by the band James. Other punters in the pub also joined in the celebrations.
