Lesnar, Van Dijk, Reigns, Ronaldo: WWE Superstars and their football comparisons

The worlds of WWE and football rarely meet, but the athletes involved in both can be quite similar.

If you’re looking at Roman Reigns, you can definitely see some similarities between him, and some of the greatest footballers of the 21st century.

The same can be said for the players, as there are definitely some ballers that are similar to the Superstars we see in the world of WWE.

So, taking that into consideration here’s a list of 10 WWE Superstars, and the footballer they are most similar to.

Both Edge and Christian Eriksen thought that they’d never be able to do what they love again.

Edge was forced to retire from wrestling in 2011 due to a series of serious neck issues, while Eriksen was unable to play for close to a year after suffering a heart attack on the pitch during Euro 2020.

However, both men, thanks to some incredibly hard-working medical professionals and a touch of good luck, were able to clear the tests needed and have since returned to their beloved sports, much to the delight of the fans.

There isn’t much to this one, other than the fact that both men are absolutely huge.

Peter Crouch was an absolutely giant on the football pitch, with his 6ft 7” frame dwarfing over pretty much everyone he shared the pitch with.
