Leicester City linked with huge summer transfer amid Aston Villa boost
Leicester City are "really interested" in pulling off a stunning move for Brentford midfielder Christian Eriksen but no talks have commenced yet.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Brendan Rodgers' side are keen on the former Inter Milan player, who has been excellent for the Bees since making his return to English football after suffering a cardiac arrest last summer.
Brentford have won every game he has started having signed the playmaker on a deal until the end of the season, and there is likely to be a scramble for his signature when the transfer window opens in the summer.
And Romano said that both the Foxes and Spurs are interested in signing the Dane in what would be considered a bargain free transfer given his undeniable quality.

Jamie Vardy is available to play some part against Aston Villa in a huge boost to Leicester City for the final few weeks of the season.
The talisman striker has been out for more than a month with a knee problem but returned to full training this week and has been declared fit enough to feature at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. While a place in the starting 11 may currently be beyond him, he may be ready to line up from the first whistle against Roma on Thursday.
Vardy has only played two games so far in 2022, the victories over Burnley and Leeds last month, with a hamstring injury keeping him on the sidelines for the first couple of months of the calendar year. Manager Brendan Rodgers knows how big a boost it is to have him back.
