Leicester City and Manchester United spotted on Porto 'mission' after Liverpool's Luis Diaz transfer

Leicester City sent a delegation of staff to watch Porto at the weekend as they continue to track targets ahead of the summer transfer window.

Porto have a treasure trove of talent that has caught the eye of Europe's biggest clubs with Liverpool moving for Luis Diaz for a £37.5m fee in January.

And now according to A Bola, as cited by Sport Witness, Foxes scouts are looking at the rest of the players who could make the jump to the Premier League.

And they were there to see Porto extend their lead at the top of the league table to six points as they secured a 4-2 win over Paços Ferreira.

A number of names have cropped up with the Foxes having been linked to midfielder Otavio in the past, but also catching the eye were midfielder Vitinha and striker Mehdi Taremi.

And according to reports, they were not alone in watching them as Manchester United also had scouts watching their every move.

Rodgers has already indicated he will see a squad overhaul in the summer which could see some big stars leave such as Youri Tielemans.

"Now my job is to keep provoking and keep developing the club and the squad,'" he said.

"If players aren't improving and developing, then, of course, you need that healthy shake-up. We need to reinvigorate the squad.

"Nine of the 11 players who started at Forest were here when I joined. For the squad to evolve and become better you need to add better players. The club have been super-supportive since I've been here.
