Leicester 0-1 Man Utd: Scott McTominay's highlights video has surprised fans

Manchester United made it three wins on the spin with a 1-0 victory away to Leicester.

After a nightmare start to the season that saw them lose to Brighton and Brentford, Erik ten Hag’s side have well and truly turned things around.

The revival started with a hard-fought win against Liverpool at Old Trafford and has since seen them pick up back-to-back victories on the road, ending a torrid run of poor away form.

What has impressed fans is Ten Hag’s tweaks to his starting XI and how settled United are now beginning to look under the new manager, after such a shaky start.

The defensive duo of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez has provided United with confidence and stability in the back, while Tyrell Malacia and Diogo Dalot have also been impressive in the full back positions.

Elsewhere, partnerships further up the field are slowly beginning to blossom as the players gel and get more comfortable with Ten Hag’s demands. The attacks are beginning to look more fluid and the midfield more composed.

A big part of that is down to the influence of Christian Eriksen, who has quickly established himself as a key player after signing on a free transfer.

But while all the fanfare is on United’s slightly new look and how new signings such as Casemiro and Antony will further improve the XI, the vast improvement of more household names has gone under the radar.

It was Jadon Sancho’s goal that secured the win against Leicester with the assist coming from Marcus Rashford. Both players still have plenty to do, but are looking much more assured and confident with the help of Ten Hag and his tweaked attacking setup.
