LEGO announces Real Madrid anniversary set

LEGO will celebrate Real Madrid's landmark anniversary with a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

On March 6, the legendary football club will mark 120 years since its formation in 1902, originally as the Madrid Football Club. In the ensuing years, the club's success and distinct uniforms have earned the stadium its nickname of the White House.

LEGO's commemoration of this important moment in football will be a replica of Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where the club have played on the home field for 75 years as of 2022!

The 5,800-piece LEGO replica lovingly recreates every memorable feature of the real stadium, from its hallowed tunnel and scoreboard to the unmistakable towers on each corner.

LEGO designer Milan Madge has said: "Real Madrid is one of the most remarkable football clubs in history – which is why recreating the Santiago Bernabéu stadium in LEGO brick form was such an incredibly rewarding experience.

LEGO's Santiago Bernabéu Stadium will be 14cm when fully built, as well as a staggering 44cm wide and 38cm in depth. LEGO advises this set is designed for the adult collector because of its complexity.
