Legendary caddie goes viral with PGA Tour moment after giving Patrick Cantlay eye roll

Time wasting is something that has crept into the modern game of golf with fans being forced to watch golfers take over five hours to complete a round.

Players have also expressed their frustration but now one caddy has visibly revealed his anger at slow play. Matt Fitzpatrick's legendary caddy Billy Foster was spotted rolling his eyes and sighing as American Patrick Cantlay teed it up during a PGA Tour event this weekend. The Englishman, who won his first major with Fitzpatrick at the US Open last year, is never shy in coming forward with his views on the game.

During the final round of the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head Foster was also filmed laughing and joking while Fitzpatrick fought it out against Cantlay and three-time major winner Jordan Spieth. Cantlay was on the 16th tee going through his pre-shot routine when the camera picked up Foster's exasperated reaction. Despite the attention to detail Cantlay was unable to get the win.

Fitzpatrick and Spieth competed in the play-off, but it was the Englishman who triumphed to scoop the $3.6 million top prize.

Foster may have won on the course but his battle to see faster play seems to be falling on deaf ears. During the Masters tournament earlier this month, he said: "I'd make 'em play quicker. I'd certainly be chasing their arses around golf course. Even at the Match Play it was taking four-and-a-half-hours for a two-ball. It's Match Play. It's pathetic.

"So that's the one thing I'd like to see the rules officials do and lay down the law more (and tell them) to get on with it or you're getting a two-shot penalty."
