Leeds United vs Aston Villa predicted XI as Jesse Marsch takes charge of first game at Elland Road

Jesse Marsch will be in charge of his second game as Leeds United manager but the first at Elland Road as the home crowd welcome the American.

His team selection for the clash against Aston Villa this evening will be of particular interest after Patrick Bamford has fully returned to the squad, although it is expected he will feature off the bench.

In the defeat against Leicester City, Leeds were more compact defensively, conceding just one goal for the first time since January.

The back line is likely to stay intact, with the return of Diego Llorente from injury after he missed out at Leicester with a minor muscular issue.

Changes could be seen in midfield. While Robin Koch's ability as defensive midfielder is favourable by coaches, he at times lacks the mobility that Adam Forshaw and Kalvin Phillips offer.

With the return of Forshaw to the squad from injury, he is likely to be dropped after Marsch revealed he feels better than he has done 'in weeks'.

"Adam Forshaw told me he hasn't felt this good in weeks. So I think he'll be absolutely ready for the match tomorrow," the American said in his pre-match press-conference.

Meanwhile Mateusz Klich's performance against the Foxes should grant him another start, as well as Jack Harrison.
