Leeds United set to step up their chase of Birmingham City 17-year old

According to Mail Online, the Birmingham City youngster has caught the attention of the Premier League outfit.

United are considering making a seven-figure sum bid for the 17-year old such is the impression Hall has made in his time at senior level so far.

The starlet has been tipped for big things and made his debut for the Blues this season.

His first appearance in the Championship came in a 2-1 defeat to QPR in January, with his second game for the club coming off the bench in a 2-1 loss to Blackburn Rovers in May.

Despite impressing in his debut when playing behind Troy Deeney, it was a five month wait for his second appearance for the club.

This has encouraged the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion and Newcastle United, who are also both monitoring the situation.

Hall is one of a number of exciting young players to come through the academy in recent years, but he could follow in all of their footsteps by departing the club before really breaking through into the first team.

Jude Bellingham, Nathan Redmond and Demarai Gray have all gone on to bigger things since leaving the Birmingham setup.

This would be a significant blow to Birmingham, who have already seen bright talent leave before making their mark on the club.

While a seven-figure sum would be a great fee to receive for a young player, it would still be a lost opportunity to see Hall establish himself at this level with the club.

Hall clearly has a lot of admirers for a reason, and making his debut at only 17 is impressive.

This would be a huge next step for him in his career and should be excited at the prospect of signing
