Leeds United's hopes of signing Swansea City's Flynn Downes just got a telling response

Flynn Downes slotted in seamlessly on his return to Swansea City's starting line-up at Reading on Easter Monday.

Downes' pass accuracy of 94.6 per cent was the best of any Swansea player against Paul Ince's men while he also made two key passes, two interceptions, one clearance and two dribbles. It's perhaps no coincidence that Swansea became ragged after the former Ipswich Town man was withdrawn shortly after Tom Ince volleyed home to make it 4-2, with Reading going on to claim a point.
