Leeds United news as fresh AC Milan-Club Brugge Charles De Ketelaere meeting bears no fruit

Here are the latest Leeds United evening headlines on Tuesday, 26 July.

AC Milan and Club Brugge held another fruitless meeting over a deal for attacker Charles de Ketelaere. The Whites are on the hunt for a left-back after Leif Davis departed Elland Road to join League One side Ipswich Town on Monday. Junior Firpo, Leeds' first-choice left-back, will miss the start of the Premier League season through injury, while Jesse Marsch has 18-year-old Leo Hjelde in reserve. Jack Harrison and Pascal Struijk have also been tried at left-back during pre-season.
